It wasn’t far just a short trip through the woods. He had to find her there; it was the last place for her to go. He began to slow as he approached the clearing trying to walk a little more quietly so she wouldn’t have the chance to run, but as he came closer he saw no one there. He walked to the center of the clearing wondering if he’d missed her when he heard a voice from behind him. “She’s not here.” It said.

Lily woke feeling hot; her skin drenched in sweat. She wasn’t worried but, for the past month they’d become a nuisance she couldn’t sleep through the night normally without waking this way. She stretched and carefully made her way down from the bunk bed. Trying to be quiet so she didn’t wake Mason, only when she looked he wasn’t there. The sun was shining into the room so she just assumed he already had gotten up. She got dressed, packed her bag and made her way downstairs to meet up with Mason. Only when she got downstairs she saw no sign of him, only Gloria was around. “
